Methods: Effective Teaching for Effective Learning
I am qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) to Portuguese and Spanish speakers. My classes are learner-centered: lessons are tailored to students’ needs, and their participation in our sessions is highly encouraged. I can prepare students for academic and professional purposes, such as university exams and job interviews. My teaching approach is interactive and communicative, with plenty of opportunities to practice English based on students’ educational and professional interests. The interactive and communicative lessons ensure that you learn and communicate in English. Our individual sessions are based on various learning tools – including readings and audio-visual materials. My instructional skills and approach in English as a second language are better suited for adult learners (over 18) with Portuguese or Spanish as their first language.
